At Diversified, our goal is to create a space where everyone feels like they belong and can thrive  

Our dedicated Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee drives a range of impactful initiatives aimed at sparking meaningful conversations and fostering a culture of inclusion. We understand that this work is dynamic and ongoing, and it remains a cornerstone of our culture. As we continue to evolve, we are committed to learning and growing in our efforts to better serve every person that joins our team. We firmly believe that our communities are more vibrant, resilient, and dynamic when they embrace diversity, equity, and inclusion.

DIVERSITY

Having a workplace that is made up of individuals with a range of characteristics, such as gender, religion, race, age, ethnicity, sexual orientation, education, and other attributes.

EQUITY

Equality is when everyone gets the same thing, and equity is when everyone gets the things they deserve and need, to create a more even playing field and fairer opportunities. Equity takes into account the unfair biases, advantages and differences that exists due to varying characteristics of individuals.

INCLUSION

Is the culture in which a mix of people can come to work, feel comfortable and confident to be themselves, and work in a way that suits them and delivers great outcomes. Inclusion means that everyone feels valued and importantly, adds value.

Workplace for everyone

Diversified has partnered with Clusivity to create a workplace that reflects the diverse experiences of all employees and enhances our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) efforts. Clusivity conducts DEI audits and develops strategies for talent retention, while offering specialised training in inclusive leadership and unconscious bias. Their innovative technology solutions, including bias-free hiring tools and DEI surveys, help us better evaluate our initiatives and embed inclusive practices throughout our organisation.

What we've achieved

'On the couch'

In 2024 we introduced our ‘on the couch’ sessions to form deeper connections and stimulate discourse internally. Each month, we come together as a group to interview a Diversified employee. It has been a great incentive to share our stories and learn from each other.

Volunteer days

Diversified employees are now entitled to one paid day of leave to volunteer with an organisation of their choice. This encourages teams to spend the day together to give back to the community and bond as a team.

WHAT WE HAVE PLANNED

EDUCATION SESSIONS

We invite speakers to conduct sessions aimed at raising awareness and providing education on unconscious bias. Our first session will focus on neurodiversity in the workplace, promoting greater understanding and inclusivity.

Parental Leave Programme

We are committed to supporting parents before, during, and after parental leave. To facilitate a smooth transition back to work, we are developing a comprehensive program designed to provide ongoing support for parents returning to the workplace.
