In response to the ongoing uncertainty in New South Wales and across Australia regarding COVID-19, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Fine Food Australia to the new dates 8 – 11 March 2022 at the ICC Sydney. While the Melbourne event will also run 5-8 September 2022, MCEC as planned.
“The health and safety of our community – visitors, exhibitors, sponsors, partners and staff – is our biggest concern. As a food industry, we have been through these challenges before, and whilst this is not a decision we have made lightly, we have considered the current situation facing the market, and the challenges you might currently be facing in your businesses. We have therefore made this decision as early as possible.” said Andrew Lawson, Event & Product Manager – Fine Food Australia.
“As the longest running and largest food event in the country, we are deeply aware of the importance of Fine Food to the industry. We believe this postponement to be the most appropriate action, to wait for a period where there is more stability, and a chance to set up all those involved in the event for success.” continued Andrew.
This also makes 2022 a truly national offering of Fine Food, with opportunities for you as suppliers and buyers to connect face-to-face both Sydney and Melbourne in the same year. We’ll also be extending the Hospitality Unites initiative to Fine Food Sydney, with a content offering dedicated to the foodservice sector once more (stay tuned for exciting details of that to come).
On top of the event, the Fine Food Product Directory – Australia’s largest online B2B food product directory, remains a vital digital tool 365 days a year for buyers and sellers in the industry, particularly during this difficult time when in person commerce has become sometimes challenging. The directory hosts hundreds of products across different categories and has become a helpful tool in sourcing new suppliers.
