Food industry luminary, Minnie Constan, has announced her departure from Diversified Communications after a stellar 20-year career with the company.
Minnie has been a leader in the food events industry and held the position of Event Manager for Fine Food Australia from 2001 to 2020.
Most recently, Minnie has stepped beyond her Events Management role to become Sales Director for Diversified Communications, and leaves the business firmly cementing her membership in Diversified Communications’ Hall of Fame.
Diversified Managing Director, David Longman, said Minnie has made an enormous impact on the business and the industry, and she will be sadly missed.
“Minnie’s journey with Diversified has taken her across many brands, but the one that she has arguably left the greatest legacy is with Fine Food Australia,” said Longman.
“Her networks and relationships within the food industry are unsurpassed and her energy and enthusiasm have always been uplifting and inspiring,” he said.
Minnie said she would miss the food, beverage and events industry but is certain she has left the show in good hands.
“I feel privileged to work within such a wonderful industry and had the opportunity to connect with so many inspiring businesses,” said Minnie.
“I’m certain Fine Food Australia will continue to be the biggest and best show in the Southern Hemisphere, and I wish everyone at Diversified Communications all the best,” she said.
Minnie leaves an established and experienced team to lead Fine Food Australia with many names the industry has grown to know and respect including Commercial Director, Siobhan Rocks, Product Manager, Andrew Lawson and the sales team including Jacqui Summerhill, Jerrie Vise and Holly Burgess.
“We wish Minnie all the best for her future and acknowledge the significant positive impact she has left on our business,” said Longman.
